Verizon Student Discount 2026: Who Qualifies and How to Verify

Up to $25 a month off select Verizon Unlimited mobile plans: $10 off for one line or $25 off for two lines. The Verizon Simplicity Plan instead gets 10% off per eligible line.

Students actively enrolled at a US higher education institution, including undergraduate, graduate, vocational and online programs. You must be the Account Owner or Account Manager yourself; a parent cannot claim it for a student, and teachers are not eligible.

   Go to Verizon's student discount registration page and click Get started to validate your enrollment with ID.me, Verizon's verification partner.

   Sign in at Verizon with that ID.me account

   Re-verify once a year

   You must renew every year and pass an annual eligibility review. If your details are current in ID.me, Verizon automates the renewal. The discount lasts up to 4 years.

Maximum 2 phone lines and one offer per account; a third phone line kills the discount, though watches and tablets are fine. Prepaid, already-discounted and promotional plans do not qualify, and it cannot be combined with most other promotions.
