Active-duty service members, National Guard members, reservists, honorably discharged veterans and military spouses. Spouses must open their own Home Depot account, upload a dependent ID and give the service member's name, birth date and account email. Non-spousal dependents are NOT eligible. Dishonorably discharged veterans, auxiliary members and civilian employees of the military are NOT eligible. Retirees are not named as a separate group on the sources read.

Accepted proof includes a military ID card, veteran ID card, VA health care card, DD Form 214 or a driver's license with a veteran designation. In store you must scan the virtual ID QR code inside the Home Depot app; a screenshot or printout is not accepted. A DD-214 or ID card shown at the register no longer works.
