YNAB gives students one free year of YNAB through the College Program (the app is otherwise a paid subscription). You verify through SheerID. Here is exactly what you need and how long it lasts.

- On ynab.com/college click 'Claim Your Free Year' and verify your enrolment through SheerID; you then get a code to redeem. If SheerID cannot verify you, email [email protected] proof of enrolment — a class schedule, transcript, tuition receipt or a dated student ID.
- Who qualifies
- College students. High school students are not eligible. International students verify by email instead of SheerID.
- How often to renew
- One free year only; after it ends you pay the normal subscription.
