What you get at AT&T
Students at participating schools get a monthly discount on eligible AT&T wireless plans plus special accessory discounts through the AT&T Signature Program. AT&T's page does not state the amount; NBC Select reports $10 per month for up to five phone lines.
Who qualifies for the AT&T student discount
College and university students at 'choice schools' that participate. Employees of select companies, union members and customers 55+ have their own tracks in the same program.

Limits and exclusions
Only some wireless plans get the discount. All lines on a multi-line account may qualify depending on each line's plan. If the account owner is not the eligible person, billing responsibility has to be transferred to them. Dealhack's separate claim about waived deposits for international students was not confirmed on AT&T's page.
