Walmart Senior Discount: Does It Exist?
No. We checked, and Walmart does not offer one. Coupon sites say otherwise; here is what the company actually says.
What does work at Walmart instead
Walmart+ Assist cuts the membership to about half price, but it is based on income, not age: it requires SNAP, WIC, Medicaid or a qualifying VA pension. Many people over 65 on a fixed income do qualify through that route.
How we checked
Checked walmart.com in September 2026 and corroborated with consumer guides that track it. Coupon sites advertising a "Walmart senior discount" are not supported by anything Walmart publishes.
